Go to Settings in the app and enable notifications. You can customize the reminder time to fit your daily schedule.
👥 How do I add emergency contacts?
Tap the "Emergency Contacts" section in Settings. You can add up to 5 email addresses. These contacts will be notified if you miss a check-in.
📧 What happens when I miss a check-in?
If you miss your daily check-in deadline, our server will send an email alert to all your emergency contacts letting them know to check on you.
🔒 Is my data safe?
Absolutely. All your personal data stays on your device. We only sync your check-in status (not your contacts or history) for monitoring purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
💰 Is the app really free?
Yes! Alive? is 100% free with no ads, no subscriptions, and no hidden costs. We believe everyone deserves access to safety tools.
🆘 How does the SOS button work?
The SOS button immediately sends an alert to all your emergency contacts. Use it if you need help urgently and can't wait for the regular check-in cycle.
📱 Does the app work offline?
Yes! You can check in even without internet. Your check-in will sync to our monitoring server when you're back online.
🗑️ How do I delete my data?
Simply delete the app to remove all local data. If you want to remove your device from our monitoring server, contact us via email.
